College Nostalgia

I went to Mapua Intramuros last week to get a copy of my Transcript of Records (yes, its been there for ages) and it was a bit nostalgic. Well the Intramuros will give you that nostalgic feel but it seems that Mapua hasn't changed at all since I last went there around 10 plus years ago.

Before going there, i dropped at the Letran part of Intramuros so I can enjoy a good walk to Mapua. A lot has changed and I can smell the atmosphere of my college days in the air reminding me how good it was getting back to school.

At Mapua, I did notice some improvements on the school building. A lot new but most of the things stayed the same. I even went a tour again around campus and the halls seems to be the same way they felt ten years ago, but a lot quiter.

It was fun going back..and its nice that i will be going back here to pickup the TOR 4 weeks from now. I wish I can go back to school and study again.

Console Gaming

So ok, I bought a PS2 SPCH 5000 model (FAT one since I plan to put in a HDD on it) last Saturday from my fave site TipidPC.com for only 4k++. Good deal since the seller was luckily a batchmate of mine in High School and lived a few blocks away from my house. So I got a good deal on some extra controllers , nice warranty and he threw in a few games for me.

I played PS2 games on my "younger" years but mostly with friends since I don't own one. Now that my kids are growing, I bought one for them and *ehem* for me as well. It's a battle for NDSLite and PS2, but I guess PS2 has more titles to choose from right now so I opted for PS2 and maybe buy NDSLite this Christmas.

Now I can finally play GOW 1 and 2 and FFX to XII during weeknights and weekends. So my PSP will be temporarily parked until Final Fantasy Dissidia is released for PSP this December.

CHINA TRIP MOVED

Well got the news last Friday that my China trip will be moved to FEB 2009 since there is a global recession that we need to weather thru. It's ok for me since there are a lot of things I need to do this November (personal) that having this trip moved is a blessing.

I think they will hold the CHINA IT Meeting a few day before the Annual AsiaPac IT Meeting this Feb 2009.

Anyways November and December will simply breeze thru due to the holidays. Hmm i wonder how many days left till Christmas....
