geez...its beena while since i last touched my blog. been too busy with a lot of things, but enjoying. My life in as a Call Center helpdesk ended 4 months ago and it was the best thing that happened to my social life after 4 years. Now i work in an international manufacturing company (which also has its own call center based in Manila btw) managing the Asia Pacific helpdesk team.

I've been doing some travel preparations now for my flight to Singapore next year due to a 3 day meeting/team building with the rest of the Asia IT leaders. I will be presenting the APAC IT Helpdesk team and our stategies there (egad!). Why as early as now? we'll i havent renewed my passport for years now, so im afraid something may go wrong along the way of the renewal so i gave myself 3 months leeway for this. I applied online http://www.passport.com.ph/app/index/ hoping it will be processed faster. lets see their service tomorrow, they're gonna be here at the office to pick up my docs.

Its been five days since I started with my new job. I am now with a new company building and managing an Internal Helpdesk Team to support the Asia Pacific region. At first I thought I will have a hard time adjusting since I've been with PS's culture for around 4 years already. But surprisingly I moved on in a matter of days.

I am very eager in building this new team and I have very supportive boss which is based in Singapore. I am expecting more brighter days in this new phase of my career.

2 top management on our department left the company this month. We were all shocked about it. there a leadership vacumm on top, no time for spacing out, need to keep the team together and survive. Focus.

Start the year with a BANG

Well not exactly a great way to start the year, the first work week was definitely too tiresome for me. Not because I just got off the holidays, its just that, there are pending work challenges from last year that was carried over this year, and I believe my team doesn't even own these problems but all hands are pointing on us.

Well, I should quit complaining and start focusing on a new team starting this Monday. Another challenge, new lessons on team work and leadership. 2007 will definitely be a year of result from last year's hard work.
