In truth had not trembled so,
I'd kiss thee under a thousand stars,
As they fall upon the wind's sweet gentle blow.
Like the waves of the deepest ocean,
Let my fingers run through your hair,
As soft as the thickest clouds there are,
Clouds upon where castles in the air,
My words are deep but true regret,
My words are lost in tranquil air,
Words whispered upon my quiet lips,
Words in speech perhaps I can never share.
And if my eyes were art for itself,
In truth, you are what I see,
Simple beauty for that is life,
