MRC Christmas Party

It was a Barong or Tux event so obviously I went to the Barong which is cheaper and more practical, I don't see myself wearing the same Tux in the next 50 years. The party was a blast and Retrospec band played for us that night at the Grand Ballroom of New World Renaissance Makati. Great party, great venue and great people.

The Next Challenge

So the news is out, I officially tendered my resignation last Dec 01 and on terminal leave since Dec 16. I'm moving to a new endeavor which will provide me more opportunities for career growth. The great thing about it is I'm going to work with my former team from Peoplesupport which coincidentally got accepted as well. I actually have several offers but most noted are Macquarie's offer and a certain BPO in Ortigas as Incident Manager. It was a tough choice and I chose to be where my former team will also be; the Australian Based Global Financial Company Macquarie.

I will officially start on January 5, 2009 ; Macquarie was very happy with us joining the pioneer global I.T. team that they invited us to the blessing of their newly added floor office in 6750 Makati to augment their growing space needs and at the same time to their Christmas party in Hard Rock Makati last DEC 12, even though we haven't started working yet :P.
