Its my 2 year anniv last Oct 27 in Peoplesupport and I almost forgot it. ^_^. Luckily my batchmates greeted all of us that day. Im very glad I'm still hereand I absolutely love working here .

Well theres also another occation last Nov 1 aside from All Saints day, its my first year anniv here at PS IT Helpdesk. But I still feel it hasnt been a year, but I did feel its one fruitful controversial and fun year. ^_^ Looking forward for more years working with the PS IT family.;)

Vista blues

We installed Windows Vista Beta 1 in the office on one of our spare Celeron 2.2 Ghz with 256MB RAM just to check whats new on the Microsoft OS.

Turned out to be okay, fairly smooth installation, although it took a while for ti to install on the next reboot and there is no progress bar to indicating how much time is left for it to configure the devices. After a few minutes Vista's all fire up and we logged in. Looks like mush more of WinXP, a little bit flashier. The biggest upset wasa we cant join it to our network domain for some unknown reason. It says the Primary domain is not syncronized with the time server? What the he'll is that? hhmmm never happened on one any WIn2k or WinXP PC we have here in the office.

Bottom line, I reformatted it and installed Windows XP instead and coverted it to a mini file server ;)

New PC stuff

Bought a new mobo w/ processor and a CD Writer last Sunday. Im now running Sempron 2200+ which retires my old Pentuim III machine. Although this is nothing compared to my PC at work which runs on a Pentuim 4 2.4Ghz Compaq CPU, i still like it since I'ts been a while since I've upgraded my PC at home. I usually use my PC at home just to check mails because Im at the office most of the time. I miss also playing games...I think I'll play Hitman 2 again ^_^

Well it seems that my Earthlink account expired already since I am no longer a Tech support there for about 4 months now since being promoted as Helpdesk Anaylst. So it means, I have to move to another webspace provider. Can anyone suggest a good one without too many ads? ^_~

Hey, ya know what!? I won a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Administrator's Companion yesterday at the Techfest 2005 event. It was during sir Vic Maceda's session on Windows XP. It was skimming it last night and its a pretty exciting book. This will really help me a lot! Great blessing!
